Why do I have a curved penis?
A curved penis doesn't necessarily mean you have Peyronie’s disease, but if you've been diagnosed with Peyronie's, your curve may be due to Peyronie's plaque.
Normally, the tissue in your penis is very elastic. When a Peyronie's plaque forms, much of the elastic tissue is replaced with a more rigid tissue. When you have an erection, your penis can't expand in the area where the Peyronie's plaque is located. As a result, the Peyronie's plaque causes a curved penis. In the beginning stage of Peyronie's, men have a curved penis with erections that may be painful. With time, the pain usually goes away. But it's most likely that the curve upon erection will remain.
